unit 6 : step 1

1.
A.. French revolution: it was started by storming the Bastille.1789
B.The American revolution to the English. 1774
2.
A. The people of France during the revolution had many emotions. They had hope and excitement for the new regime, but also with change comes fear. There was turmoil and disillusionment because there was a massacre that had  killed many innocent royalty who had very little ties to the last regime. However, with the people who had backed up the revolution ,they were excited and didn't see the injustice, just yet.
B. The American revolution was a very important, for it had put uncertainty in England. The American revolution caused England great economic loss, and a loss of prestige and confidence. In a way, the American revolution provided confidence for the french and their revolution, thus leaving England to feel rigid and backed into a corner.
3.
The Romantic poets wanted to express new feelings, expression of self-revelation and imagination. They wanted to explore new and mysterious ideas of the human self. The poets of the Romantic Period wanted the reader to feel the passion and/or misery in their writing. The Romantic poets saw true beauty in nature and of the human self. They felt the industrial revolution was killing all of the natural beauty and the soul of man kind.

Unit 5: closing

5. To me what was the most important to them was a varity of things. To most it was living through the plague that was happening. Everyone was trying to do anything to save themselves. It sad to relize how much people were doing to each other to be so selfish to hurt others to keep yourself save.second thing would be love. Because there was alot of poetry going on . another thing that comes into play, is the church! the church was respected and feared as was the king in these times. The church was as powerful or more then, the king. The church was exploiting the people as much as the king , the priest and bishops and padres would have the the peasant come to church and have them believe if they didnt give most of their money , they wouldn't go to heaven. and the little money that the peasant had from the church exploiting them , would go to the lords.
